In my first life, I trained and embraced the (hard) life as a professional dancer and the more time I spend in the wedding industry, the more I see the natural relationship between the elegance and grace of ballet (in particular) and weddings.

Rachel Simpson Shoes founded in 2008, already have a great reputation in the UK wedding industry. I first met the delightful designer and founder Rachel at The White Gallery London in April 2014.
When Rachel told me about her recent collaboration with Freed of London and showed me some of her collection and a few sneak peeks from this photo-shoot taken at the Royal Opera House, I knew I HAD to share these with you.are a HUGE shoe manufacturer founded by Frederick Freed in the heart of the London theatre district in 1929 and are one of the largest if not the largest dance shoe manufacturers, producing over 200,000 pairs of pointe shoes every year.

I asked Rachel;
What inspired you to create your new Freed inspired bridal shoes Working with the traditional construction of dance and Latin shoes, I took particular inspiration from the flapper style of the late 1920s, with a decent amount of 1930s glamour thrown in for good measure! There are two distinct looks within the collection one softer, with ballet inspired blush pinks and warm ivory and champagne, and the other a little more glitzy, inspired by the ballroom, with a decent amount of glitter to finish the look!
